If ever you do decide to call
We were still friends 
If you should care to recall

What reasons could there be
You have chosen to ignore
As a friend I can be reached
You had many times before

I continue trying to reach you
As I hoped to keep in touch
Am I supposed to just forget
When we shared so much

If you turned your back on me
Have the decency to explain
I never did break my promise
As your friend I shall remain

All boys are the same
they love to play
childish games
they never know when
to change

theyll take your heart
and then break it apart

theyll say i love you
but never mean it
from the start

theyll lead you on
then let you go
for some other hoe

so what do you do
when they do you
wrong, you sit, you cry, you
shout, and pout,
cause you dont
know what there love is all about

but from expierences i been through
i learned not to fall so hard
or fall in love
fast because
before you know it he’ll
quickly become your past

so when they do you wrong
try not to care so much
try to forget about his hand touch
dont cry or pout
stay strong
and try not to hold on
for oh so long
